West Seneca and Oatka Welcomes EMW Football & Cheer. to our family

EMW general goal is provide a safe place for the youth of our community to have fun while participating in the sport of football and Cheerleading. We hope to teach the participants how to play and participate in a team environment, and exercise the values of good sportsmanship.

The specific objectives of the EMW Football and Cheerleading are to familiarize all youths with the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, to provide an opportunity to play the game in a supervised, organized and safety oriented manner, and to keep the welfare of participants free of any adult ambition and personal glory.

                      they are a little league in suburban Buffalo, New York
                      serving over 600 children, ages 5 to 19,
                      their families and our community.

                       they offer basketball for boy and girls,
                        ages 8 through 15.

                      During the Spring they offer t-ball for boys and girls, ages 5 and 6.

                       For ages 7 and 8 they have pitching machine divisions
                        in both hardball and softball.

                      The older kids 9 through 19 can participate in hardball and
                        softball divisions that are broken into 2 year increments.

          *Beginning in the fall of 2008 they will start a FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING progran in the OATKA SOUTHERN TIER FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING LEAGUE !!!!

Registration Fees

Registration fees are $100 per football player or cheerleader. This fee offsets expenses of the teams, maintaining the field and grounds, insurance, and end of season banquet and trophy for each player or cheerleader + Football Jersey, or Cheerleading Sneakers that participant keeps at end of season.  Our fundraiser, family plan Cheerleading Mascots and refund policy for registration fees is as follows:

    1 = Our only fundraiser is $1.00 Raffle Tickets that every participant needs to sell 45 tickets.

   2 = Family plan per participant (1)=$100, +Tickets (2)=$200, +Tickets (3)=$230 +Tickets (4)=$260 +Tickets There will be no refunds after July 30, of the playing year. All fundraising $$$ needs to be in the first night of practice

    3 = Cheerleading Mascots Under 6 years old on August 1  cost is $50.00 no tickets no sneaker fee for Mascots

    4 = A request for a refund must be submitted in writing to the President of West Seneca Little Loop Football And Cheerleading, Inc. for the Board of Directors review and disposition prior to July 30,

2008 DIVISIONS FOOTBALL/CHEERLEADING

These divisions will allow our children to play Football & Cheerlead with friends that are in the same school grade as well as age level as themselves. The League will have four (4) age/weight, grade divisions, The maximum age and weight for each division is as follows:

1= PeeWee      Age  6 & 7     on or before August 1   Max Weight   90 lb
2= Freshman Age  8 & 9     on or before August 1   Max Weight   110 lb
3= J.V.             Age  10 & 11  on or before  August 1    Max Weight 130 lb
4= Varsity       Age  12 & 13  on or before August 1    Max   Weight 155lb

Weight shall be that of a player wearing gym shorts and tee shirt. Age refers to League age and is that

age attained during the calendar year of any season, reference to August 1st.

PeeWees will be 6 and 7 years old

Freshman will be 8 and 9 years old

Junior Varsity will be 10 or 11 years old

Varsity will be 12 or 13 years old

The Football Program:

The program runs from the first week of August thru November. There will be approximately 10 hrs of practice per week starting July 30. After Labor Day Practices are approximately 6 hrs per week. Games will start in late August and most games will be played on Saturday but there may be a chance for a Sunday game . Oatka will schedule all regular and post-season games. All Games will be played under the current Oatka Rules

NEW FOR 2008 WSLL FAMILY DAY @ MARTIN'S FANTASY ISLAND
New this year West Seneca Little Loop Day at Martin's Fantasy Island!! This will be OPEN to all players and cheerleaders and their families and friends all welcome!! $10.00 per person will include lunch, soda pop, at are Povilion all day rides and shows. Come show off your Blue & Gold
